Commercial commitments lose context between departments.

A commercial commitment crosses sales, review and fulfillment responsibilities. Separate lists and messages can obscure approved terms, the current owner and the evidence required for completion. This workstream addresses those dependencies through one operating workspace, keeping revisions, decision authority and the next action attached to the same business record.

One work file connects quotation and delivery.

We implemented customer files, quotations with explicit price provenance, independent review and internal orders through a shared API. Approved terms pass into assigned preparation and delivery work. Blockers and delivery references remain recorded. A returned quotation follows a controlled revision; historical activity and work still requiring action retain separate views.

Shared records govern state and authority.

We considered separate department applications and a shared workspace, selecting shared records to reduce fragmented context and authority. The server enforces segregation of duties and version checks on every change. Records, history and command receipts persist together, so stale edits cannot overwrite newer decisions and retries cannot create duplicate work.

Explain the commitment, its owner and its next action.

• CEO: Follow a commercial commitment to its responsible team and assess the blocker through one shared work record.
• CFO: Inspect approved terms and revisions while distinguishing fulfillment from payment or fiscal completion.
• CTO: Govern authority, versions and transaction history through one API, limiting duplicated rules across department interfaces.

The implemented process passed a multi-user journey.

We delivered the API and workspace in development. Synthetic employee sessions verified quotations, review, blockers and recorded delivery references, alongside restart, permissions and conflicting edits. Adoption and commercial results remain unverified. Live payment, stock reservation, fiscal documents and production infrastructure require separate verification.
